An evening of inspiration as we met old friends and caught up with our school leavers.
Mrs Kennedy, Chair of our BoG, warmly welcomed us to the evening and paid a fitting tribute to our former Chairman, Rev Roy Campbell, who passed away so suddenly last June.
Mrs Robinson, of our BoG, opened in prayer before Principal, Mrs Allen, welcomed us with the theme of family and legacy embedded in her speech. She had video clips from former teachers, all giving us the benefit of their wit and wisdom...there has to be a book in the future about the goings on 'back in the day'!
Guest speaker, Mr Ian McConaghy principal of Dromore High, spoke fondly of his memories as Vice-Principal of the school, and left us with a challenging message to make wise choices to be the best that we can be.
Mr Greg Williamson The Valley Hotel handed out the sport prizes and encouraged each child to maintain their interests.
There was sadness too as presentations were made to Mr Kenny Graham who retired in August, and to Mrs Magill who will retire at the end of this month.
The music ended the evening on a spectacularly high note, with guest appearances from former pupils.
Many thanks to all who came and made our evening so special.
